Goodman's Father's Day pie goes missing, Tommy and Mr. Pickles set out searching for the pie thief, but meet an unexpected creature in the forest. Mr. Pickles is an American animated television series, which aired from September 21, 2014 to November 17, 2019, on Cartoon Network's late-night programming block Adult Swim. The series revolves around the Goodman family and their demonic dog Mr. Pickles.[1]

| Grandpa decides that he had enough of Mr. Pickles' torment and decides to move away up into the mountains, Mr. Pickles follows him there to torment him once again, but to his shock, he finds out that Grandpa planned for him to follow him and chose a secluded location so he could kill him. However, due to a few twists of fate (especially due to Mr. Pickles talking via a speaker), Mr. Pickles escapes Grandpa's grasp and manages to frame him for murder as payback. But before the Sheriff can take him to jail, he swerves his police car off the mountainside and crashes into the woods. As the Sheriff regains consciousnesses, he soon finds out that Grandpa has disappeared from his car and only notices a trail of footprints heading into the snowy valley forest as the series is left off on another unanswered cliffhanger. |

| After Mr. Pickles framed Grandpa for murder in the Season 3 finale, Sheriff learns of Grandpa's whereabouts, and heads out of the country to track him down. However, Grandpa takes Sheriff's gun and forces him to take him to Mr. Pickles's ancestral island home, gaining an accomplice in one of Mr. Pickles's former followers as they scheme to snipe the dog. Though Mr. Pickles appears to outwit and kill Grandpa by switching bodies with the owner of a show dog he was making sex with, he ends up being killed for real as Grandpa used the same spell to switch bodies with Mr. Pickles's servant and then the show dog; although Grandpa's victory is cut short as the show dog gives birth to Mr. Pickles' puppy. |

In 'The Wonderful World of Television' these days, there are any number of reasons why a show gets cancelled or saved… has its premiere moved up or pushed back… or gets nearly completely retooled. In the case of Showtime and the second season of Jim Carrey, Michel Gondry, and Dave Holstein's award-winning and critically-acclaimed series Kidding, pushing the series' return back to Sunday, February 9, was actually a positive thing.
As Showtime grows its programming block and uses its 'heavy-hitter' shows to plant flags on those new days and hours, Carrey's return as Jeff Pickles is being paired with the final season of Homeland. Picking up moments after Jeff's first-season actions result in Mr. Pickles' Puppet Time being off the air for the first time in 30 years, Kidding will premiere two back-to-back episodes this Sunday.

With his beloved Mr. Pickles' Puppet Time off the air for the first time in 30 years, Jeff Pickles must find a way to communicate with his many fans who still need him. Jeff creates a new and controversial method to talk directly to children across the world only to become the target of animosity for the first time in his career. As Jeff navigates the most complicated moral gray areas of his life, he discovers a new side of himself in a season full of music, magic, puppets and pathos.
Kidding was created and is executive produced by Holstein (Weeds, Raising Hope), who wrote the pilot and serves as showrunner. The series is also executive produced by Oscar winner Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), who is directing several episodes, including the premiere.
